Today, I Begin Again.
God told me to get rid of my linkedin newsletter and start this one. So I will be obedient to what he wants me to do. 🤍

Today, I start a new blog.
Recently, I walked away from something I worked incredibly hard to build - a 700-subscriber newsletter on LinkedIn.
It wasn’t just a newsletter.
It was community.
It was consistency.
It was momentum.
And God told me to let it go.
There were beautiful, supportive people there. But there were also voices and presences that were not aligned with where God is taking me.
And obedience sometimes means walking away from something good because God has something better.
It was not easy.
When you build something from scratch, you attach effort to it.
Time. Energy. Identity.
Letting it go felt like tearing off a piece of something I nurtured.
But I know this:
God replenishes what obedience releases.
Sometimes we say we want to obey God. We say, “Yes, Lord, use me.”
But when He asks us to surrender something real - something tangible - something we worked for - we hesitate.
Because obedience costs.
Sometimes it costs comfort.
Sometimes it costs reputation.
Sometimes it costs security.
Not only did God ask me to release that newsletter - He told me to tithe the rest of what was in my bank account to the church.
And I did.
Not because it made sense on paper.
Not because it felt easy.
But because I trust Him.
Maybe it was a test.
Maybe it was preparation.
Maybe it was alignment.
But I know this: God is always for me.
And if God is for me, who can stand against me?
Everything I build - my ADA/WCAG compliant websites, my Digital Design Psychology work, my nonprofit NDVerse launching March 18 - all of it is rooted in love.
Love is not passive.
Love is intentional.
Love makes room for people.
When I build accessible websites, I’m not just checking compliance boxes. I’m creating digital spaces where people who are often excluded can feel included.
Because that is the heart of God.
And NDVerse - no matter how prepared I feel - is moving forward.
Not because I feel perfect. But because obedience doesn’t wait for perfection.
There are seasons where everything feels uncertain.
Where obedience feels heavy.
Where surrender feels risky.
But in those seasons, we choose trust.
We remember that God is omnipotent.
We remember that He is good.
We remember that He does not take without multiplying.
If you are in a season where God is asking something difficult of you - trust Him.
If He is asking you to release something - trust Him.
If He is stretching you - trust Him.
If He is quiet but directing you inwardly - trust Him.
Obedience is not weakness.
It is alignment.
And alignment unlocks provision.
To anyone reading this:
May the Lord bless you.
May He strengthen you in your obedience.
May He replenish what you release.
May He protect what He is building in you.
And may you always know - if God is for you, nothing can stand against you.
God bless you.
